Coach's comments/season outlook: "We have a lot of players back this year with a year of experience under their belt. These players have had a great off-season and pre-season here in this first week. I'm excited to see our freshman class battle with our returners for key spots. Our freshman class is a group of girls who've played tremendously well together in middle school. We're very excited to have them up here with us. We have got to stay hungry each game and find a way to get better each day. We have to play together as a team and be able to trust one another. If we can come with great attitude and effort each day and be 100% accountable to one another the sky is the limit for this team. "

Pre-Season
Hoping for warmer weather ... The Vikings started their preseason off on March 6th @ 6 a.m. in the East Gymnasium.
The Vikings had 26 players show up for tryouts and participate in two-a-days for during this week. During this week the Vikings were being tested on their strength and condition in the morning and their hitting and fielding skills in the afternoon. The team wrapped up their week with a player/parent dinner meeting on Friday.
The Vikings are still in need of a lot of work and reps due to this weather and look to take on Radnor on Tuesday (3/23) for their first and only scrimmage of the year.
The team starts its season on Monday (3/22) away at Haverford.

Winter Workout
Fall Workouts
The Vikings started workouts back in November and December where they focused on their strength and conditioning. As we approached the January and February months the Vikings practiced twice a week as well as still incorporating their lifts. Eva Moffa and Ally McAlonie were two freshman in the winter months who were constantly their and working on getting better.
